Sorsogon vice-gov tells women’s group: unite and cooperate

SORSOGON CITY ( — Nothing is more valuable in an organization than being closely-knit and very cooperative in all the worthy endeavors of the association.

Thus said Vice Gov. Ester Hamor during the meeting of the Women’s Power of Sorsogon headed by Adelina Dela Piña whose members also belong to the Bikolanas Agriculture Cooperative.

Hamor was the special guest during the meeting. She said she was willing to help the association grow.

The Bicolanas Agriculture Cooperative is a CDA registered coop. It has its main office in Naga City.

Also present was Ms. Tess Gonzales, the vice governor’s daughter who exhorted the members present to do their utmost best for a strong and vibrant organization.

Also discussed was the INP (Istorya ng Pagasa) a project of Vice President Leni Robredo now being undertaken by the Women’s Group of Sorsogon with William Hapin as lead convenor, replacing Revor Lasay.

Others in the group are Edna Santiago and this writer Shiela “Bing” Aldridge is the group’s treasurer. INP is a nationwide search for Filipinos, who, in spite of poverty in life have succeeded in their struggle in this mundane world. []
