Old man in Naga City found dead, decomposing, but no report about stinking odor

CITY OF NAGA, Bicol Region – An old man was found dead, decomposing, but no mention anything about bad, stinking odor.

Old man Oscar Manansala, 61 years old, was found dead, decomposing, by a Naga City policeman who has wanted the victim to leave the property which the cop has claimed as his own.

The police report said PO3 Andrew Godoy went at said place to visit the victim as he is the present owner of the said property where the victim was given ample time to vacate the place.

The incident happened Saturday, June 16, 2018, at San Mateo St., Zone 1, Barangay Cararayan, Naga City

When PO3 Godoy verified the victim inside the house, the old man did not respond, the gate and all doors were locked. As the cop asked the neighbors of his whereabouts, revealed that the victim did not go out for almost three (3) days.

With this knowledge, the policeman asked for assistance at Police Station 4, for verification of the victim whereabouts.

They entered the premises, particularly inside the house when they found out that the victim was dead inside his room, naked and on the stage of decomposition.

Based on the assessment of the IOC, no foul play was noted inside the perimeter of the incident and the victim corpse. The cadaver will be brought to Cristo Funeral Homes, Zone 7, Sitio San Rafael, Brgy. Cararayan, Naga City, subject for an autopsy.

Investigator-On-Case together with PO2 Asinas, PO1 Wong and PO1 Julia proceeded to the place of the incident to conduct an investigation of the report at about 5:35 P.M. on Saturday. [BicolToday.com]
