CITY OF NAGA, Bicol Region – Representative L-Ray Villafuerte is the richest Congressman in the Bicol Region having total assets of Php 236.99 million with total liabilities of Php 25.9 million.
This report came from the 2016 Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net worth (SALN) he filed and released by the House of Representatives.
Trailing Villafuerte for the second slot is Albay Representative Fernando Gonzales (Third District) with Php 108.37 million with no liabilities.
Landing as the third richest Congressman in the Bicol Region is Albay Representative Joey Salceda (Second District) with Php 83 million total assets and Php 24 million liabilities and a net worth of Php 51 million.
Deputy Speaker Representative Rolando Andaya (1st District, Cam Sur) is the fourth richest Bicol Congressman with total assets of Php 60.65 million and Php 15 million total liabilities, and total net worth of Php 25.65 million.
Lagging behind at the fifth place is Camarines Sur Representative Arnulfo Fuentebella (4thDistrict) with total assets of Php 45.63 million and liabilities of Php 2.5 million for a total net worth of Php 43.12 million.
As to the overall ranking with all Congressmen nationwide based on their declared SALNs, Villafuerte is the 21st richest member of the House of Representative.
