GUBAT, Sorsogon — Wavy things are not always found in land or in someone’s curly hair but these are sometimes hidden in the ocean and in the treasures of the deep blue sea.

And the white, shimmering and refined sand in a surfer’s paradise here beckons, with its blasts of waves giving an inviting sound.

“Welcome to Lola Sayong Surf Camp!” the friendly fresh sea breeze seems to whisper.

The place is named after its land owner, Lola Sayong, and managed by the Gubatnon for Adventurism Organization.

It is perfect for all the surfers, adventure seekers, travelers and for all the ones who want to take a break from the hustle-bustle of the urban life and have soul-searching moments.

The waves can proudly go up as high as eight feet, satisfying the surfers’ hunger for adventure and fun and these giant water formations offer Class C to A waves that are flawless during summer and mid-September.

For those who want to learn how to surf, the Lola Sayong Surf Camp offers tutorials for the beginners.

Tourists or surfers can also plan to have an overnight and choose either to stay at the cottage or spend the night in a tent for bonfire making and star gazing.

Do not have plans yet this summer and want to learn something exciting? Pack your things up and join the escapade!

Yes, feel the heat and face the waves. Search and find yourself. Lola Sayong Surf Camp awaits you!(PNA)
