SORSOGON CITY (BicolToday.com) — The inclusion of Manny Pacquiao recently as team manager of the Letran Knights in their quest for a lofty position in the 91st NCAA season soared the confidence of the Intramuros team in notching their second win in a row without a loss after the heavy bombs of the touted Jose Rizal University failed to hit their marks giving the Knights a sixteen points victory. The final score was 78-62.

This was relayed to this on-line news by Aldin Ayo coach of the winning team crediting the resiliency and adjustment of his squad in his strategy of “organized confusion”. The team was almost perfect in the execution of plays and fully understand their individual role. It was our spurt in the third quarter giving us a cushion of fourteen points to start the fourth canto. I did not expect that thirteen points margin of silence from the Heavy Bombers, he said.

The 25 points of Rey (Nambatac) was solidly complimented by the rest of the team. Kevin Racal solid 15 points put so much pressure to the Heavy Bombers to penetrate the defensive wall of the aggressive Knights. We hope to duplicate our victory in our next assignments and still we have to adjust to the level of strategies of the other teams, Ayo said. [BicolToday.com]
