A report reaching Chief Supt. Victor P. Ona, Police Regional Office 5 director here, identified the village chief, who did not reach the Claveria District Hospital alive, as Arlene Amado of Barangay Imelda, Claveria town.

Seriously injured and being treated at the same hospital are her husband Jay Amado, a teacher, and the driver of the other motorcycle, Jeremy Capinig, 15, single and resident of Sitio Mabolo, Barangay Poblacion, Claveria.

Police said the two motorcycles were speeding when they collided at the corner of Del Rosario and San Fernando Streets at about 12:15 p.m.
