MANILA, 29Aug2013 (PNA) – Philippine National Police (PNP) Public Information Office (PIO) Chief Police Senior Superintendent Reuben Theodore Sindac on Thursday showed the mugshots and the fingerprints of the alleged brains behind the P10- billion pork barrel scam, Janet Lim-Napoles.

Sindac said the release to media Napoles’ mug shots and ten-print card was upon the direction of Interior and Local Government Secretary Manuel Roxas II and the PNP Chief Director General Alan Purisima.

Napoles was at Camp Crame Wednesday night after her surrender to President Benigno S. Aquino III at Malacanang Palace.

Meanwhile, Makati Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 150 Presiding Judge Elmo Alameda on Thursday has ordered the immediate transfer of Napoles to the Makati City Jail (MCJ).

Napoles, together with her brother Reynald Lim, went into hiding before authorities could serve the arrest warrants on them on August 15 in connection with the alleged kidnapping of the businesswoman’s aide and cousin Benhur Luy.

Napoles also identified as the alleged mastermind of the pork barrel scam in which part of the legislator’s Priority Development Assistance Fund were channeled into dubious non-government organizations she supposedly set up, an allegation she has denied. (PNA)
