MANILA, 21Aug2013 (PNA) – ‘Maring’ may have left the country but still continues to enhance the southwest monsoon, thus, the suspension of classes in different parts of the metropolis on Thursday and Friday.
Classes at all levels, public or private, are suspended in San Mateo, Rizal, Parañaque, Laguna, Pasay, Cavite and Malabon.
While, Muntinlupa, Pasay, Mandaluyong and Valenzuela suspended classes from pre-school to high school, public and private.
Pateros also suspended classes from pre-school to high school but for public school students only.
On the other hand, La Salle Greenhills High School suspended classes for Thursday. Officials have still not announced any suspension of classes for Friday.
On the other hand, Mayor Guia G. Gomez announced that there will be classes for San Juan on Thursday and Friday.
Meanwhile, the first district of Las Piñas announced no classes for elementary and high school students tomorrow, while, the second district of Las Piñas announced that there will be classes in all levels, public or private schools.(PNA)
