Body count in Cebu sea mishap climbs to 31 – PCG


MANILA, 18Aug2013 (PNA) – The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) on Saturday said that the total number of bodies recovered in the Cebu sea mishap has reached 31 as of 3:30 pm.

The PCG-Action Center said search and rescue teams are still working in the area to possibly rescue passengers alive.

The PCG said the number of rescued passengers is still at 629 as of this posting.

MV St. Thomas Aquinas has 752 passengers and 118 crew. Of the number of passengers, 666 are adults, 28 were children, and 58 were infants. (PNA)
