P1-M cash, brand new pick-up up for grabs in 5th Phoenix Open

DAVAO CITY (28-Feb-2013/PNA) – A whopping P1-million in cash and P100,000 worth of Phoenix fuel cards await anyone who can make a hole-in-one in all par 3 holes in the 5th Phoenix Open Golf Tournament set on March 9 at the Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club here.

Organizer Liloh Evangelista said that a brand new pick-up, a car, and other prizes will also be given away in designated par 3 holes. Lucky winners shall also receive Royal Selangor Pewter Plates and Phoenix Petroleum Fuel cards. Champions will win limited edition Phoenix signature golf bags.

Registration is ongoing until March 4 up to 5:00 p.m. Participants can register at the following outlets: Rancho Palos Verdes, Apo Golf and Country Club, and Davao City Golf Club.

Entry fee is P5,000 per player inclusive of dry-fit golf shirt, a double layered golf umbrella, portable gadget power bank and a golf cap, to be distributed on the day of the tournament. Players can participate in the team, partner or individual categories.

Players are entitled to one practice round on any day between March 5 to 8 at the venue upon presentation of the tournament receipt at the club’s front office.

The 5th Phoenix Open, an official golf event of this year’s Araw ng Dabaw festival, is presented by Phoenix Petroleum Philippines and Pioneer Insurance. The proceeds will go to the advocacy of the Phoenix Philippines Foundation, Inc. (PNA)
