LEGAZPI CITY – The regional office pf the Civil Service Commission (CSC) in Bicol has set Feb. 28 as the deadline for the filing of applications for the first batch of this year’s written Career Service Examinations (CSE) both for professional and sub-professional levels.
The examinations will be conducted in two testing centers in the region on April 14, CSC regional director Cecilia Nieto said on Monday.
The testing center for examinees from Albay, Catanduanes, Masbate and Sorsogon will be in this city while those coming from Camarines Sur and Camarines Norte will take the examinations at the testing center in Naga City, she said.
An applicant must be 18 years old on the date of filing of application; a Filipino citizen; of good moral character; has not been convicted of any crime nor discharged from military service or dismissed for cause from any civilian position in the government and has not taken the same level of CS examination in less than three months or has not failed the same examination for four times.
He or she is also required to submit original and photocopy of any valid ID containing his/her picture, date of birth and signature, and the signature of the authorized head of the issuing agency.
An examination fee of P500 must be paid by the applicant along with the filing of the application.
Nieto said the picture nmust be taken not later than three months before the date of filing of the application. Scanned, photocopy or computer-enhanced picture is not accepted.(PNA)
