NAGA CITY (05-May-2012) – The Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) in partnership with Fund Assistance for Private Education (FAPE) and the Department of Education (DepEd) organized a K to 12 Summit for private schools in the Bikol Region and Quezon Province.

Held on May 4 at the Convention Hall of the Regent Hotel, the summit was organized in view of the program’s initial implementation this coming school year 2012.

The summit will be followed by an ESC-GASTPE Orientation on the 2012 ESC and TSS Implementing Guidelines on May 5.

Participants to the summit and orientation include DepEd, FAPE and CEAP Officials, School Heads and Representatives.

Similar summits had been held in Manila, Cebu, Davao and Dagupan. The conventions gave schools the chance to be informed about the status and updates on the educational reform and government programs by DepEd and FAPE. [CBCPNews]
