President Duterte’s “Death Squad” (PDDS) turn into political party: Regional launch in Bicol went Pfftt due to cancellation of 72 flights

LEGAZPI CITY, Albay — President Duterte’s Death Squad (PDDS), which became the “nightmare” of Sen. Laila de Lima, has morphed its outlawed appearance and formed today here as regional political aggrupation, however, national officials failed to come due to aborted flight schedules.

PDDS as an outlawed secret group of former Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte has cost the political career of de Lima who is very vocal about “extra-judicial killings” when she was still the secretary of justice, and far from her dreams that the acronym would change into “Pederalismo ng DuGOng Dakiland Samahan in her own homeland.

Anti-graft Commissioner Greco Belgica, at the outset, spelled out the acronym as President Duterte Death Squad turning into a grouping with specific purpose written in a Kartilla form which advocates to stop illegal drugs; corruption; criminality and terrorism. He mentioned that PDDS would served as regional party in alliance with Sara Duterte’s Hugpong sa Pagbabago.

Belgica, who is also acting as PDDS national president, expressed his message to delegates via taped video saying that his hectic schedule won’t allow him to be present in the launching

Sto. Domingo Mayor Herbie Aguas called it as “pagbabago” or change espoused by President Duterte that promised to illiminate drugs, corruption, criminality, terrorism and changing to federalism the country’s form of government.

Aguas is serving as PDDS vice-regional president, while Catanduanes Gov Boboy Cua, who was not around In the launching, was named president.

Nanette Lim, who was introduced as PDDS regional chair, expressed dismay that despite the preparations made, expected national officials including Sec Bong Go & Davao Mayor Sara Duterte failed to attend the launching of the new regional party held at Ibalong Centrum for Recreation, Legazpi City.

Lim mentioned in her apology before almost 2,000 delegates, that flight schedules were changed by the Aviation Authority following crash landing report of China Airlines plane at NAIA, thus affecting the arrival schedules of the expected important guests to the regional gathering.
