Drunken paramilitary man dead from motorcycle accident in Sorsogon City

SORSOGON CITY- A drunken paramilitary man on motorcycle cruising the opposite lane of a highway was bumped by an incoming passenger jeepney. He died on the spot.

According to police reports, the victim was Aldrin Logronion Marmol, 26, a member of the Civilian Armed Forces Geographical Unit (CAFGU) based at the 22nd IB Alpha Coy, Camp Patrol Base at Barangay Esperanza, Pilar, Sorsogon Province.

He met his death Friday along the stretch of Maharlika Highway, at Barangay Bucalbulacan, this city.

Reports said Marmol was cruising along the highway bound for Pilar when he lost control over the wheel and took the opposite lane of the highway where he was bumped by a jeepney driven by Joebert Hermida Jolloso, 31 years old.

Police found out he was intoxicated of liquor.

As of press time, relatives of the victim have not yet decided if they will file a case against the driver. [BicolToday.com]
