SORSOGON CITY – A former member of the Philippine Army was killed in a buy-buy-bust operation when he resisted arrest after selling to a poseur–buyer two heat sealed transparent sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu Tuesday, June 26, at about 4:48 p.m. in Purok 7, barangay Cambulaga, this city, the police said.

Sorsogon City chief of police Supt Edison Albao Dumangas identified the victim as Ariel Marasigan Dimaala, a.k.a Marlon, 31 years old, a resident of said barangay and a native of Gumaca, Quezon.

Dumangas said the victim was a newly identified drugs personality. He was declared dead by Dr. Ruel Rebustillo, Sorsogon City Health Officer.
