Farmer in Labo, Camarines Norte, shot dead

LABO, Camarines Norte (BicolToday.com) – Forty-eight-year-old farmer Joseph MagoBaning was resting at his house when an unidentified gunman on motorcycle shot him dead for unknown reason.

Labo police reported that a motorcycle-riding gunman shot Baning dead while the victim was resting at the veranda of his house at Purok 6, Barangay Canapawan, this town.

The back rider shot the victim several times.

The shooting incident happened 2 pm on Saturday, July 1, this year.

Police said the victim managed to flee a few meters, but again was shot when he fell down.

Recovered from the crime scene were five (5) fired cartridge cases and two (2) slugs for caliber .45. [BicolToday.com]
