SORSOGON CITY — Heart Evangelista, showbiz wife of Senator Chiz Escudero, formally transferred her residency at Sorsogon City, an initial step before entering Sorsogon over-crowded politics.

According to a report, Kapuso star and painter Heart Evangelista (real name Love Mary Ongpauco) filed her permanent residency at 2:00 o’ clock in the afternoon of April 7, 2015 at Sorsogon City Comelec office, Amberg Building, Barangay San Juan [Roro], Sorsogon City.

Attorney Ryan Filgueras accompanied Evangelista and other supporters during the filing.

Why at the Comelec office for her residency status is the question left unanswered by the Escudero clan, but already subjected to public speculation.

Her transfer of residency, a requirement in running for a local elective post, has not surprised local politicians as reports said, they have been anticipating it.

There are no reports from various political camps if they feel wary or nervous over the entry of Heart in Sorsogon politics, already an over-crowded arena.

Chiz and Heart were married on February 15, 2015 in an exclusive private wedding in Balesin resort in Quezon province after Escudero’s previous marriage in 1999 was annulled in 2012.

There was no word from the Escudero camp regarding Heart being groomed for an elective post, but public speculations agree on one thing – that Heart did not transfer her residency in Sorsogon City just to stay put inside a house to serve as her residence.

The concerned public agree that the Escuderos have a different agenda for her. [BicolToday.com]
